Facebook Timeline is a new integration in Facebook and its quite interesting. When you first start using Timeline, you are given a week to customize your timeline before it is published or you can publish instantly and then start editing your Facebook timeline.
There are many features in Facebook timeline. As the name suggests itself, you can create your timeline from the birth day til present. You can add pictures on different instances of time to identify yourself in different instance of time.
You can always customize your Facebook timeline. First step of customization starts with adding a cover in your Facebook. At the top of your profile, after you activate timeline, you will see add a cover option where you can add cover for your timeline. This can be either by choosing from all your photos in Facebook or by uploading a new photo.
After when you do this, you may want to add your pictures in different instances and then make a note about them. For example if you want to add something about your birth, click on born at the timeline and click in the pencil icon which means edit. Now Add details like your Parents' name, your Birth Place, your birth photo etc as shown in the picture below.

Similarly you can edit any module in your Timeline. You can also choose to minimize or feature any module in the timeline.

Be sure you save every time you edit any module in your timeline.

Your every status is updated on timeline and you have control over it. You can hide any of your activity from timeline. You can customize timeline on your own way.

How to Deactivate Timeline From Facebook Profile

Recently Facebook has introduced timeline feature for the profile. This has new features but may be some people have got difficulty to adapt with this feature.
In my opinion the new look is alright but many of my friends say that this is confusing. This may be because we have never seen Facebook in this way.

Recently before launching Timeline for everyone, Facebook had only allowed application developers to install Facebook timeline on their applications and there was not any way to disable the timeline feature from their application until and unless they could delete the application itself. Similarly there is not any certain way once you get started with Facebook timeline.

When you get started with Facebook timeline, your timeline could not be seen by any other till seven days as these seven days are provided to get familiar with this new feature while you can directly click on publish to publish timeline to your profile.

Bad news is that once you activate the timeline feature you can not roll back to your old profile.
